If I choose a package that involves a shopping session AND wardrobe session will we shop the same day as look through the wardrobe?

There is some flexibility depending on your time constraints, however generally we can do the wardrobe session first then a shopping session a few days, a week or a few weeks later rather than all on the same day.

What are the payment options?

A quick and easy way is a bank transfer. If you are unable to pay in full at the time of your style session you can pay 50% upon booking the style session and the remaining 50% 48 hours prior to the session.  There are no payment plans for gift vouchers.

How Do I book a style package?

Please email the stylist for a preferred day and time to check availability. You will get a reply within 24 hours.

Does the stylist earn commission from stores if I buy something?

No commissions at all.

Where are shopping sessions held?

The stylist works out of Westfield Bondi or Sydney CBD areas unless requested to source elsewhere.

What are my options if I can’t get to either location with the stylist?

Please let the stylist know and she can advise you on the styling packages that don’t require shopping. As long as you have an internet connection and access to Skype (the stylist can help you with this free app) your style session can be anywhere in the world. The Wardrobe Refresh or the Virtual Styling might be a good package for you to choose in this circumstance.

What if I my budget is small?

The stylist won’t receive commissions from any stores so a small shopping budget is not a deterrent to the stylist showing you which clothing pieces may be a great addition to your wardrobe. You might like to use the shopping session as a guide to what you’d love to put on a wishlist when the budget allows for purchases.

What do you recommend as a budget for the shopping experience?

The stylist caters to all budgets but as a guideline $500 to $3000 is generally spent.

Do you have gift vouchers?

Certainly! And it’s an excellent present. Buy a gift voucher for a friend or relative’s 21st, 30th, 40th or beyond. It’s an excellent group present for the person who has everything too. Take the stress out of finding a perfect gift as this is an ideal gift that’s customised to each individual’s taste and personal style.

Do the packages include a budget for purchasing clothing items?

No, the package fee is the stylist’s fee for the hours of the service. Your own shopping budget for which clothes you’d like to purchase in on top of the fee.

How many items could I purchase in a shopping session?

It depends on your budget and which items you’ll need to complement your desired looks. You may fall in love with every item you try on in the stores and you may have an expansive budget. Or with a smaller budget you may prioritise which items you’ll purchase, even if it’s just 1 or 2 with a plan to purchase more at a later date. Or you may purchase nothing at all.

How many clothing items do clients usually try on?

It’s really up to you and your stamina for trying on clothes. The stylist conducts thorough research to find you clothing items that closely as possible match your style needs. You may try on anything from 15-50 items (including accessories) in a three hour session.  

How would I remember which shops had which items?

You and the stylist can take photos of each outfit with your phone or the stylist’s phone. You (or the stylist) can take notes regarding which items in which stores so you’re not likely to forget.

Is the shopping session exhausting? Will I be waiting around while the stylist searches the racks?

The stylist asks you to sit down, when possible so you’re not as tired as shopping for yourself. She’ll have conducted thorough research and done a pre-shop before the style session and you’re welcome to stop for water or food whenever you like. It’s much more relaxing than shopping alone.

Do you charge travel fees if you travel to my house?

If you live further than 30 minutes from the Sydney CBD, a call out fee will apply depending on the location.

Will the stylist make me throw away or give away any clothing items deemed unfit?

You won’t have to throw anything away. They’re your clothes so it’s your choice to keep them or do what you like with them. The option is there to donate to charities if you so choose but there’s no obligation whatsoever.

Do you only style ladies?

Everyone needs styling! The Stylist works with everybody from teenagers and children to seniors or adults. The stylist enjoys working with transgender individuals who need help dressing for different genders. There is practically no-one who doesn't benefit from an image enhancement. The aim is to help people become their very best self.

Would you style a group or a couple?

I can certainly style a couple. I can style a small group also, so please email me through an enquiry.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Please advise the stylist as soon as you know you can't make the session. Please advise within 72 hours as the stylist will be doing pre-shopping and research within this time frame. You won't be charged a fee if you reschedule. Please refer to the terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions: If you cancel within 72 hours, 30% cancellation fee is charged, however the fee is not applied if you re-schedule. All bookings require 50% deposit upon booking. If you cancel within 48 hours, 50% fee is charged. Vouchers are non-refundable. For full terms and conditions please contact the stylist.
